Join Our Team as a Material Handler – Receiver!
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Material Handler – Receiver to support our operations during a short-term leave of absence coverage. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in ensuring inventory accuracy, material flow, and warehouse efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
· • Unload trucks and handle materials using a pallet jack
· • Sort packages and perform receiving/inspection tasks
· • Enter data and perform basic to moderately complex electronic transactions
· • Receive materials and prepare them for stockroom or floor distribution
· • Ensure proper handling of materials per standard procedures
· • Review and enter required data into inventory systems
· • Move materials safely (up to 50 lbs) and complete all required documentation
· • Utilize various tools including soldering irons, crimpers, hand tools, microscopes, etc., to assist in tasks
· • Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas
Required Skills & Qualifications:
· • Minimum 2 years of experience in warehousing, manufacturing, or receiving
· • High School Diploma or GED required
· • Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse/manufacturing environment
· • Able to operate a hand jack and frequently lift up to 50 lbs
· • Strong hand-eye coordination and visual acuity
· • Basic math and measurement skills
· • Computer literacy for data entry and inventory tracking
· • Ability to read and understand work instructions, engineering drawings, and blueprints
· • Knowledge of (or willingness to learn) ESD handling procedures and SPC data
· • Good communication and teamwork skills
· • Willingness to follow instructions and recommend process improvements
Preferred Experience:
· • Background in industrial manufacturing, stock keeping, or warehouse operations
